Some Real People Actually are Finding the Elusive Green Jobs

Without any clarity in the terminology, those attempting to define "green jobs' may find themselves using the old measure of obscenity: "I'll know it when I see it." That seems to be the gist of the CNN article Growing excitement, expectations for green jobs corps: while no new definition is advanced, there are many case studies of people studying for--and finding--what do seem like green-type jobs.

It's actually rather amazing. While demand for green training is high (at San Jose City College 260 people showed up for 44 seats in a class on solar panel installation classes), demand for graduates is also high.  Students in some programs are being recruited before they graduate, and the Texas Energy Education Consortium claims that nearly 100% of graduates go on to find work in the fuel cell industry.
